Thanks for your post. I think where WikiTree fits in and is different from other sites, is that we are all working on one shared family tree.
Many times in working on my own family members, I have found where my work ties into someone else's -- or other folks have contacted me and provided pictures, family Bible transcripts, letters. So for me it's been a richer experience.
If you want to Volunteer to help grow this wonderful collaborative Tree, please leave a note to that effect when you are ready. We would love to have you!
