Hi Mary Shelley,

You will want to switch your "french_roots" followed tag to "france". Please check this out: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/846021/french-roots-becomes-the-france-project

Hi, Mary Shelley. In the future, when there is uncertainty about the appropriate LNAB for a New Netherland person such as Abraham Van Wagenen, please consult the project naming convention at Project:New Netherland Settlers#Naming Conventions.

I'm retired and researching my family tree I have found that some of my ancestors arrived in Massachusetts before 1630. I am living overseas in Tunisia and have spent most of my life in France and have a keen interest in learning more about my origins, both America and European in order to transmit this information to my children and grandchildren and to share it with siblings and cousins.
