Good morning, Kacie - I am so pleased to see you here and to find all the information you provided for our Hurt family ancestors. I apreciate all you are doing and I hope I can be of help.
Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. To get the best results, you need to start with yourself and add sourced profiles for your ancestors until you can connect to existing profiles in WikiTree. 24 hours later, your test will have populated on the profiles of your ancestors and their descendants, where others with potential matches may also appear.
Let me know if you have any questions, and have fun!

Hello Pip, I am having difficulty because I unintentionally created two profiles for myself. O'Connor-4904 and O'Connor-4867. I have tried to create a merge but receiving an error message that another merge has been initiated by someone else, and after five minutes, I can complete the merge, but under each profile, no merge option shows up and the two are still not merged. What do I do to resolve this?
What you’ll need to do is contact info at wikitree dot com (convert to an email address), and tell them what’s happened. They’ll take care of it for you.
This profile has a database error (DBE#774) in the way that the last name at birth has been formatted.
Could you please either correct the name or add me to the trusted list and I'll fix it.
Thank you
Looks like we may be cousins. Would you like to collaborate on the WINCHESTER line?
