Hi Nic, thank you for following Arkansas! We do have an Arkansas project, as you saw with Member of the Week Jimmy Honey. My family is from the SW Corner of the ARLATX. Holler if I can help in any way.

I do believe that there were more than one Hardy Holland. However is there a link that you can give me to take me to the source you are referring to. I’ve had quite a difficult time with the Holland side of my tree and would love to read through it.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz, C.!!

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordinating with others is essential.

Based on your tags I suggest US Southern Colonies project which covers Georgia the Carolinas, Virginia and Maryland from colonization to the American Revolution. Leaders are Paula J and Mags Gaulden

See: Pre-1700 Projects list to review other possibilities.

Hello Again,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Cindy ~ WikiTree Messenger

PS To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to this link. RootsSearch. There are 24 different websites available and most are free. Give it a try!

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family.

I recommend starting with our New Member How-To pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you create your family profiles. If the link doesn't work in your e-mail, you can find it in the public comments on your profile page.

Need help? Just ask!

Above all, have FUN!  :) I hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have!

Kind regards,

Vicky Majewski ~ WikiTree Greeter & Member since August 2015

Hello C.,

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.

Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.

Jess
