Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. It normally takes 24 hours from adding a test, or adding a new ancestor, or ancestor’s descendant, for WikiTree to display your name and test results on your ancestors and their descendants’ profiles for potential cousins to compare results with. The process of identifying which branch elements of DNA relate to will better enable you to find matches which relate to the particular branches you are researching.
Have fun!

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. You can always find a link that works in the public comments on your profile.
You have been here for a while now! We hope your profiles are starting to come together and that you've enjoyed getting to know all of us a little better.
You're probably getting a good feel for the collaborative nature of WikiTree by now. We know that collaboration isn't always easy. So, we've put together a few pointers that can make working in this type of environment a little easier: How to be a Successful WikiTreer.

This week, we'd like to show you How to Join in the Community. There's no shortage of opportunities to get involved through social media, our forum, and projects.
Be sure to check out the One Name Studies Project to see if anyone has started a project for one of the surnames in your family. Don't see one? Follow the instructions for starting your own!
Please let me know if you have questions. :-) If the above link does not work from your email, please go to your profile in the public comments and it will work from there.
Thanks, WikiMessenger Cindy
You've been here a week now, and we hope you enjoyed your first stop on your guided tour of WikiTree and were able to make good use of the things you learned.
Our next stop will give you some pointers on how to make your profiles stand out: How to Edit a Profile.
As always, your questions are welcome!

Thanks for filling out your tags!
You are now a confirmed member, and you can get started adding your family members. As we've said, WikiTree is quite different from other genealogy sites. So, we've put together a guided tour to help you learn how to use it. Your first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree.
Tomorrow, you'll hear from a Mentor who will check in to see how you're doing and answer any questions you might have.
Next week, you'll get another message with your next stop on the guided tour.
You can also meet some of our members by joining in the fun with our Question of the Week in the G2G forum. This week's question is: Are you related to a Magna Carta Surety Baron?

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started. WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as one collaborative team!!
What brings you to us? Do you have research youd like to share? When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests with your tags.
If your not sure about tags, add one for a surname your interested in and then maybe a country or state. Tell us why the tags you chose are important to you. Don't forget to click on the "volunteer" button.
Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way!!
Dorothy, Wikitree Greeter.
