I am the second of three children born between June 1960 and August of 1962 @ Noble Hospital in Westfield,MA to Robert Kenneth and Elizabeth Ann (West) Wilson then residents (along with grandma Wilson) of the nearby town of Soutwick, MA. My siblings and I were legally adopted (1966) not far from our birth family. I was old enough to remember some events. I remember the talk with our adoptive mom about having come from another family. I think we vaguely knew we came from somewhere else. We were 18 months to 3 1/2 years old when we arrived in new surroundings. I remember feeling generally lost, what to do & where to go, Some disconnect as I can now put words to the emotions felt early on. For a very brief time we also had two brothers (Micky & PJ) aged 2 & 5. It must have been a lot for a young couple still in their early twenties. I wonder to this day whatever happened to them & how did they did. That seems a concept that we seem to understand at an early age. Who we belong to. I did not wonder who my siblings were. Trying to relearn it at an early age may have added to what seemed to be long term struggle. School was difficult. I felt lost. So many people. How do they know where to go. I tried to just follow the flow not knowing where we were going. Where is my sister? She seemed to know where she was going. How did she know? Who told her? I don’t feel like I really understood a whole lot. I can meet people from the past without social jitters. I think genealogy helps me feel like I can better put things together by viewing the past. I love to hear people’s stories. I can go at my pace. Very therapeutic! I believe in God & he brings me greater comfort in learning our important past, present & future.

We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.
Try our Relationship Finder! It searches 20 generations. If you find a duplicate profile, the other managers are probably related. You can use this to find out how!

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found on the Bio Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom, or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

Hope you're enjoying our site. Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well
Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide to get you started.
We also have our Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.
