Hi Kimberly

I sent you a check-in message a week ago about the 1776 Project to ask you about your past and continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project?

If I don’t hear from you by the same time next week I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Best wishes,

Mary~ Project Coordinator, Membership, 1776 Project

Greetings from the https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:1776

We're doing our semi-annual check-in with members to see if you have been active in the last six months? Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the 1776 Project that you respond to these check-ins.

Please post your reply as a reply to this message on your page, for convenience of the record keeping.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Hi!

If you're a member of the Google Group,* then you've heard that the Magna Carta Project has retired the Gateway Guardian initiative. Would you delete or replace your Gateway Guardian sticker please?

WikiTree has two relatively new stickers - Template:Relationship_Sticker and Template:Connection Sticker - that you might want to use if you're related to or connected to the Gateway. There's also the Template:Descendant sticker that you can use. To see tailored coding for these stickers (e.g., with the Magna Carta Project logo), please see Space: Magna Carta Stickers#sticker.

Thanks! Liz

* If you're not and would like to be, please send a request to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/wikitreemagnacarta (be sure to include your WikiTree ID; the Google Group is no longer "Project members only", but it is restricted to WikiTree members).

Hello,

I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.

If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi again,

I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!

If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes,

Hi,

The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.

REMINDERS: (1) We use Google Groups for project collaboration and you aren’t yet a member of the group, please submit a join request here (make sure to add your name/WikiTree ID to the request). (2) I see you've added German_Roots (our old project name) to your G2G tags, you should also add GERMANY to your followed G2G tags so you don't miss any discussions in G2G (see: Help:Tags#How_to_follow_tags Help:Tags).

Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list. We recently launched a new Profile Improvement Team and are seeking new team members. Let me know if you’re interested.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi! I noticed you chose our Integrators Challenge this month (December 2020), thank you!

Got a question, see this page:https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Space:Integrators_Project_Challenge_Outline&public=1   and .... https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Integrators_Challenge#How_the_Challenge_Works   Also, you can put a sticker on your profile You can do so by adding the words Integrators Challenge with the {{ }} in front and back, in your biography.

Thank you and Good Luck!! Dorothy,  Integrators Project Coordinator.

Hi again! I haven't heard from you, so I'm assuming you don't have time currently to work on a Magna Carta trail. If you could switch your sticker to the Affiliate one, that would be great. Give a holler when you have a bit more time & we can get you going again.

Cheers, Liz

Hello Liz, I think what stalled/stopped me from continuing is that I found the project information and instructions confusing. It was not clear to me what the goal for each profile is. I was unable to create a task list of things to complete on a profile. The project information and links kept me bouncing around so much and took so much time. If you could just lay it out in black and white what is expected to occur for each profile from the Gateway person back to the Surety Baron, then I would be happy to comply. Thanks! :)

Hi again! Since my last comment, the project has adopted the Team approach. Also, since you did not get back to me last year, your badge was removed. The requirements for badged members have also changed a bit since last year. The checklist is still in place but has been updated by the "PPT" Teams - see the join post in G2G for more info and post an answer there to re-join the project: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/981609/want-help-magna-carta-project-achieve-main-goal-post-answer

Hi Kimberly! I was checking December deadlines for the Magna Carta Project & see your deadline for the Needs' trail is 16 December. I also noticed that you never got started on the Needs' trail... and that it's much the same as Samuel Levis' (which Samuel's Guardian has nearly completed).

So... you'll need to pick another trail to develop & we can "restart" the 6-month deadline. Just let me know in the next week or so what trail you'll be working on. Give me a holler if you need help picking one.

Cheers, Liz

P.S. If you'd prefer to be an Affiliate member, which has no participation requirements to meet, please replace your Gateway sticker with the Affiliate sticker & I'll take it from there:

P.S. The profiles look like they just need the Magna Carta Project sections updated (with the Surety Baron you'll be developing the trail to - see Space:Magna Carta Project Section; see the Space:Magna Carta Project Checklist to guide you on developing the profiles in the trail).

Also, the Magna Carta Project co-manages the profile with the another project, so you'll want to coordinate with that project before making any edits to Joseph or Mary's profile. (We co-manage many Gateway Ancestors' profiles with other projects, which frequently cover the Gateway and descendants, while the Magna Carta Project covers the Gateway's trail to a Surety Baron).

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers, Liz

update - the previous text was deleted; the Gateway Guardian initiative was retired 7 February 2022. Thank you for serving in that role for the Needs (Joseph and Mary).

Kimberly, Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.

Thank you for joining the William Penn, the 1776 and the German Roots Projects. You are good to go.

This is the link if needed: Pre-1700 Projects list, located at the top of your page, 4th topic on right, under <Find> and <Projects>.

Hi Kimberly,

I noticed that you used the Challenge Tracker to track a change during last month's Sourcerers' Challenge. Please consider officially joining us for the Sourcerers' Challenge. You can find information, including how to join, on the Sourcerers Project page.

No pressure, every profile with a source makes our WikiTree better. Your work will continue to be included on the Tracking Sheet even if you do not register.

Your work is appreciated. Thanks for sourcing!

Hi!

Just checking in with a few quick tips:

Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and and Standards help pages.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, please ask!
