Hi Debra,

You have my husband’s (Leslie Charles Crichton) grandfather, his siblings and great grandparents on here. John Neilson Crichton is his grandfather, Andrew Brown Crichton and Martha Williams are his great grandparents. His parents are Allen Crichton and Iris Mitchell. Are you related to them? Lynne

Thanks Debra,

Mmmm, I have had that on another line in my family, (a question about a missing father)but thanks to matches a person contacted me, and it all fits together, the missing person had lived up the road and obviously delivered more than the laundry, my great grandmother was the result. Good luck with your search. Are you on Ancestry? My husband has done his DNA and is on my tree on Ancestry. Lynne_Crichton, see if he has a match with you. Cheers Lynne

Hi Debra, Wikitree states that we are sixth cousins through our mutual ancestors, Robert Rean and Ann Clemens. I am so grateful to you for sharing all your research on the Reans. I am lucky that I have found DNA matches with other descendants of theirs (Francis Coath and Rebecca Rein) so it means a lot. Fowey, Lansallos and Polperro are beautiful parts of the world, that is for sure!! :-)
Great to hear from you, and that the research is useful. I love that we have such unique and colourful ancestors; some of the details that have come out show such character :-)

Hi Debra,

I'm not sure if it is the same Lily Bentley, but it is perfectly possible! I will do more research into it and see what I find :)

I recognize many of the names from photo albums. Could you send me photos that have landmarks or are notable?

Might help narrow it down.
