Advice before adding spouse of this pre-1700 Nuckolls profile?

Question

I can add a spouse to the profile of James Nuckolls. This is who I can add:

• Susannah Unknown

These are the sources I am using:

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

I wouldn't recommend adding the spouse.  I would recommend to contact the profile manager.  You might can get some sources out of the Nuckolls Report but it is not a source, it might be useful though as you look for proper sources.  Good luck!

Your suggested source, The Nuckolls Report, is a tertiary source that does not appear to cite the sources it was built from and thus is not really a source you can count on, but it may be a reservoir of clues for your research that could ultimately lead to real sources that permit reproduction by others.
