Hi Pam, sorry I haven’t replied, I’ve been busy with life — my wife died in 2021 and since then I’ve been swamped with settling her estate, selling our vacation home, managing a water system, meeting my high school sweetheart again, getting married, planning our honeymoon and vacation plans, moving everything from our vacation home to our permanent home (in the process of moving our 9’ grand piano right now).
Haven’t had time for genealogy but still very interested and will re-commence when things settle down.
Remove my badge if that is best for you and the project, but please keep me on otherwise.
My major brick wall is finding/proving the parents of my great grandfather Nelson Milton (N.M.) Parsons. Joseph and Nancy Parsons are only a hypothesis, and the Civil War Project might contain helpful information.
Bests,
Thomas M. Henry Parsons
Hi Thomas, it's been eleven days since I asked if your still interested in the US Civil War Project. I'll assume if I haven't heard from you in the next ten days that your interest in the project has changed, and I'll remove your badge. I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.
Hi Thomas, the US Civil War Project is conducting a Check-in for 2024 to see if your still interested/active in the Project.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you. You can click the reply button or message me with your answer. Thank you. Pam Kreutzer, Leader of the US Civil War Project
Hi Thomas, it's been a couple of weeks since asking if you wished to remain in the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'd appreciate you letting me know by the end of February if you desire to remain in the Project. If I haven't heard from you by then, I'll assume you no longer wish to participate. I hope to hear from you soon, thank you.
P Kreutzer, US Civil War Between the States Project Leader
Hi Thomas, I just wanted to thank you for all the work you've done to improve the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'm doing a check-in with all project members and wanted to verify that you're still interested in being a member of the project. Also, any suggestions for the Project would be welcome. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
P Kreutzer, US Civil War Between the States Project Leader.
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

You've been a member for a few weeks so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions? Most of us have questions after all that information!
