Biography

Desmar was born in 1889 in Opelousas, St Landry Parish, Louisiana. His parents were Louis Onesime Pitre and Marie Alsina Leboeuf. The family was still living there in 1900.[1]

Desmar married Marie Alida Vige. In 1920, the family was living in St Landry Parish, Louisiana.[2] They were still there in 1930.[3] By 1940, they were empty nesters.[4]

Desmar registered for the WWII draft in 1942.[5]
