Pierre Baudoin, son of Nicholas Baudoin and Marguerite Brou, was born about 1758 in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. He died 28 Jan 1808 in Lower Vermilion, St. Martin Parish and was buried at St. Martinville the next day. [1] Probate of his estate was held at the St. Martinville Courthouse on Jan 1808. [2][3]

Pierre BAUDOIN, a native of St. Charles Parish, drew up will dated 20 Jan 1808 leaving his land of 33 arpents to his wife and six children. He noted that his [unnamed] children by his first marriage had been compensated for their inheritance from their mother.
An inventory was dated 7 Jun 1808, including eight slaves worth $3,200; animals worth $232. The total of other items brought appraisal to $3,744. A sale was held 4 Jul 1808.
