Hi Jo, thank you for your edits on Maria Christina Naude - but I don't understand the source references you added, I cannot follow the links, so please help me understand what they refer to.

Next question is do you have any further info on her farther Willem Viljoen?

Hi Annette,

All the facts I type into the Biography have a [1] [2] etc. behind it, this number in the square brackets refer to the sources in the sources section at the bottom of the Biography. Go down there and you will see a link for example "Baptism Martha Christina Viljoen 1852", hover the cursor over the link which will then display the hyperlink address where the scanned birth record of Martha Christina is stored at FamilySearch.

I am not able to trace Willem Viljoen records to his roots yet.

Shout if you need more clarification and or help.

Regards Jo

Hi Jo,

Ella Rosina (Bezuidenhout) Naude (1923 - bef. 1945) is married to Private Naude in your tree & I suspect that he is Fanie Naude (Naude-1739) who is the son of Frans Naude. Would you please confirm or add me to the trusted list for this family group? I see we share a greatgrandfather in (Naude-89) - So cool!

Hi Jo, thank you so much for confirming this match. Exciting to be able to trace this line of Naude back to 1530!! That opens up a question, SJ Naude 1797 married E M Naude 1780 - should these two lines of Naude not come together somewhere? I would appreciate your input. Annette
Ok found the link. Naude-113. Some decendants have the Naudé with the exclamation while others don't. When searching connections or relationships it seems to exclude one another.
Yes they are duplicates, thanks

Nuwe nuus en hulp asseblief as jy kans sien

https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/896948/voortrekkers-se-name-wat-saam-met-dingaan-gesterf-het?show=896978#c896978 Gaan kyk gerus as jy belangstel in die Voortrekkers wat saam met Retief gesterf het

Thank you. I do see the spelling "Janneke", and I ask who entered the data? The answer is NOT the family, but the dominee or whoever. Later documents often conflict.

Jo, jy is die enigste persoon wat die merker __CATEGORY_SOUTH_AFRICAN_ROOTS_PROJECT__ volg. Ek sien jy volg ook SOUTH_AFRICAN_ROOTS. Dit behoort goed genoeg te wees.

Jo, kyk bietjie op die De_Beer-1231 profile . Ek het "n nota daar gelos. Ek het ook Fourie van Frankfort bloed binne my are. Ek dink jy sal my kan help.

Rakende de Beer 1534 (Frank James)sal ek die kinders se geboortedatums eersdaags volledig he . Dan kan mens dit ook laai.

Frank James se laaste seun, Louis Johannes is as tiener in 'n trekker ongeluk oorlede. Sy pa Frank het op die plaas Libanon,Reitz 'n huis gebou rondom sy graf. Frank James is ook later daar begrawe asook sy tweede vrou Aletta Margaretha Fourie. Sy was my Pa , Frans Jacobus se stief ma.

Groete, Johan de Beer

Rakende Generaal Jan Hendrik Olivier

Ek het uiteindelik tyd gekry om sy doop te laai. Nou moet ek net bepaal watter van die baie Jan Hendrike was sy vader :-D
