I understand but there is no DNA data on the profile. You cannot just wipe a profile with the intention of further research.

I sent you the link to the Help page for that. You must collaborate with the profile managers.

See the help page about communicating before changing relationships.

Whenever detaching parents or other relationships, please add a source and your suggestions for change in the message box. After reaching consensus, the change can be made.

This is not necessary for obvious mistakes such as someone being their own sibling but for changes such as you made to William Patrick Vaughan, a great deal of collaboration is required.

Thank you for your message! I am part of a very small line of Sims in Alabama. The earliest I can locate is 3 gens back to William and Maggie Sims in 1910. I am told that they may have been immigrants who were given the name SIMS by an immigration officer somewhere when he couldn't understand their last name. At least this is the tale. I will be glad to share my research with the Wiki Community. I have done research on my Vaughan Ancestors as well as Jackson and King ancestors. I have a public tree on ancestry. I like my facts to be accurate and I always do thorough research as well as I can. There are a lot of mistakes on ancestry so I would like to do research with those who check their facts.
