It looks like US History would be a good fit with the tag you entered. Adding the tag United_States_History will help you get updates about activity for that project.

I wanted to suggest that you edit your tag(s) to show any surnames you are researching. When you list a surname, location or historical event in your tags, you can then click them and see a list of other WikiTree genealogists who are also researching those names, locations, etc.

You'll also get notifications in your daily & weekly emails when there is activity relevant to your tags.

So, we've put together a guided tour to help you learn how to use it. Your first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree. Hello and welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you've ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
