Greetings! Are you aware Wikitree has a Poland Project? Check out our page to see what we are doing in Wikitree, how you can help and utilize the Project: Poland/Resource Library to see what information is out there to help you in your research. If you are new to Wikitree and are having a difficult time getting started, check out a Welcome to Wikitree page which will help you with the basics of Wikitree.

The Poland Project is very busy categorizing villages in Poland. If we have created a village category for you, please help us by adding it across other profiles you manage, where applicable. You can also assist us by finding and adding it to other Wikitree profiles from the same village through the Find link at the top right of your page. Scroll to the bottom, "Search for Any Text". Categorizing = connecting users or profiles. We appreciate any help you have to offer!

Richard Lanman,Jr., your message proposing a merge for Margaret Donaldson York (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Donaldson-92) showed Donaldson-3083 with uncomplete date. I created this profile the same date I did the siblings, and created the parents several days earlier. Her birth and death data [Donaldson-3083]came from FamilySearch source attached 16 June 2018 (https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/99TY-T5B ) and was NOT of the Rabun, Georgia, family, located at (https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LX17-4FD). The records prove two different women living in different states as listed by census records 1850-1870 as sources for the two different families. This NEW profile was NOT daughter of William Donaldson/Sarah Wallace of York, SC. Please read the above sources.

Hello!

This week we have your last two stops on the guided tour. We want to give you just a few more tools that can take you even deeper into the WikiTree forest without getting lost:

2. How to Dig a Little Deeper

As always, your questions are welcome!

Vicky Majewski ~ WikiTree Mentor

You've been here for several weeks now! We hope your profiles are starting to come together and that you've enjoyed getting to know us a little better.

You're probably getting a good feel for the collaborative nature of WikiTree by now. We know that collaboration isn't always easy. So, we've put together a few pointers that can make working in this type of environment a little easier: How to be a Successful WikiTreer.

Don’t hesitate to ask questions as that is the only way we gain knowledge!

Thanks, WikiMessenger Cindy

PS Good work so far! Have you noticed on your ancestor profiles on the bottom right is "Research" where you can get sources and more information? Give it a try sometime!

I found your project page' Looks nice !

Any other questions, let Liz or I know (-:
