I am biologically a Rowland although my grandfather David Lafayette Rowland was raise by Hiram Watson Sellers, as a Sellers, so it’s David Lafayette Sellers. His father was James Huston Rowland and James’s father was Phillip Marshall Rowland and they lived in Blount County, Tennessee. There are many records that do not make sense to me, so I am up against many walls and unable to verify 100% what the truth is. Many years of birth are off by 2 or 3 and up to 10 or more years difference. So poor are many census records that it is very frustrating and many family trees have become incorrect from not being verified. I hope we all find what we are looking for and enjoy the hunt.
