Good Morning to you as well. It only took me a year to respond. My deepest apologies. I have changed jobs, moved to a new town and built a house in 2023. What a year!

I'm still alive to answer you and it's funny I'm going to build a house on the land of Brittany, land of your French pioneer ancestors in Canada, good luck sir! I wanted to tell you that in terms of genealogy I have about 5 or 6 Scottish clans the Grahams, Campbells, Turbulls, Menzies, Sutherland etc. in my ancestors since I descend from John Stuart d'Aubigny, have a good day Sir Grant

Hi, Jason, please be sure to read the profiles of the Acadians you edit. Several recent name changes have already been disproven. Even though your family records give such information, professional genealogists have researched and shown that information to be incorrect as stated in the profile. Several of these have had to be changed back.

If you want to add names, etc to a Project Protected Profile, please post a comment with the information first, so it can be reviewed by the project managers. Thank you, Cindy

Hello, Jason,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordinating with others is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Based on your tags, the Acadians Project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to review other possibilities. Read the goals and tasks of the projects and join those which are a good fit.

Have questions? Ask in the comments section of my profile.
