Suzanne was born July 13, 1969 in Brownwood, Texas to Garland Ray Bailey and Glenda Jean Snodgrass. She went to school at Brookesmith from Kindergarten to the 7th grade. She was taught to read by her paternal grandmother, Pearl Brown Bailey, at the age of 3, because she was ahead of her age/grade she was promoted from Kindergarten to 2nd grade. In the 8th grade she and her younger sister, Marla, started attending schools in Brownwood.
Suzanne first married Ronnie Smith on 02/01/1986 in Brownwood. They had 3 children, James, Dylan and Macee. They divorced in 1994.
Suzanne then met Christopher Monroe in 02/1998. By November 1999 they were married.
Suzanne stayed at home with the children for most of their young lives. She then worked outside the home until her disabilities forced her to stop.
She has always been interested in her family history. And really dove into it after the death of her mother in 2008. Her DNA has been tested and is on GEDmatch, Ancestry, Geni and here at Wikitree. She has strong roots from the Czech Republic, Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, Germany and a touch of Native American thrown in for good measure. Suzanne is a 5th generation Texan, and is Texas proud!
