I tried to respond to your privately but your ISP bounced the message. Thanks for reviewing the pages I recommended. This morning you were using "Various church and civil records on Ancestry and FamilySearch" as the source when creating pre-1700 profiles.
The guidelines call for you to identify the individual records that you reviewed. For instance, on the profile of John Manley you might have looked at this marriage record at FamilySearch. FamilySearch provides a citation for each record which can be accessed by clicking the down arrow beside "Document Information."
Please begin using more detailed citations on profiles, especially those for pre-1700 people.
Thanks,
Debi
I have completed the Martha Wilkes merge. As Debi has mentioned below sources are vitally important for all profiles and especially those pre-1700. If you are planning on working on English profiles you should consider joining the England Project who can help with research and sourcing. Please consult the England Project before creating further pre1700 English profiles.
Thanks Vivienne
Thanks for all your work on WikiTree. I noticed that you recently created a profile for a pre-1700 ancestor.
There have recently been some updates to the Pre-1700 Profile help page and the Pre-1700 Quiz since you took it in Nov 2014. Please review both and let me know if you have any questions or concerns. You will notice that the wording has been modified to more fully explain the sourcing needed for pre-1700 profiles.
We're looking for reliable sources to add to the various lists. Would your sources be a good additions?
Thanks,
Debi
Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.
Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As we always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.
Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Your work is appreciated.

(All living US Wettach and Wettack I found descend from the same Baden, Germany family, even though their ancestors emigrated to the US via Switzerland, where the Baden Wettachs originally came from.)
Hope I can link up my tree to yours at a later time (most of my genealogy can be found on myheritage and geni, some gedcom data also rather publicly on older genealogy sites). Regards, WGW
