Biography

Name: Eleanor Unknown
Her LNAB and ancestry is unknown. She is the presumed mother of all of his children, but the large gap in the children's birth dates indicates he could have had an unknown first wife. She was previously attached to Christopher Crafts as a father, but this is not known to be true considering we know nothing about her birth.

Birth

Born: Say 1605 (1600-1608) in England.
Rough estimate based on his oldest son being born about 1627.

As far as I've seen, there's no evidence to support the date of death of June 1685. She was named in her husband's will in March 1685. She could have died shortly thereafter but I've seen no records. Geni is not a credible source; it's just a user-based family tree like any other.

Crafts-116 and Unknown-478997 appear to represent the same person because: The LNAB of the wife of Solomon Johnson is Unknown. It is not Crafts which is a common error.

Birth location is suspect, unless she was native American. Marriage is said to have been in England by 1627 per Torrey.

Leader needed:

I think we need a leader here to edit the LNAB from Craft/Crafts to UNKNOWN on profiles Craft-688 and Crafts-114 so the merge can proceed. The managers on these profiles either do not respond or have posted they are unable to make the LNAB change.

Thank you.

Actually, I can't, since I am no longer certified.

Crafts-114 and Craft-688 appear to represent the same person because: These appear to both be meant as the same person married to Johnson. However, her LNAB by all historical documents is unknown and Craft of Crafts is an internet fiction as LNAB. See that discussion on Crafts-114 and the husband profile attached to that profile. There are also multiple profiles of the husband with at least two pending a merge.

Steve, can you change her LNAB to Unknown. It is not Crafts which is actually a possible name for her son's second wife.

Craft is known to be an erroneous maiden name. Her LNAB is unknown. see the duplicate profile for discussion.
