Louis Dentin is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana Plaque 10 Left, L'Amitie, arrivee le 6 novembre 1785. Listed with Louis is Eleine Au Coin, his wife; four children: Jeanne Dentin, Marie Anne, Anne and Julie; and Francoise Douairon and Marie Douairon fille de la femme [daughters from Eleine's first marriage to Alexis Gregoire Doiron.^[1]
