Great-grandfather of Father of Dwight Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States
His full name appears to have been Jacob Frederick Eisenhower (sometimes spelled Eisenhauer). He appears on various records as Jacob F., Frederick, or Fred, and once (in 1860 U.S. Census) as Frederic.
Frederick Jacob was named for an older brother that was killed in 1777 in the Revolution.
Donna Endorf Londeen's FindAGrave entry says that he was a farmer and weavre of bedspreads. He is listed in the 1860 U.S. Census as a "gentleman".
His birthdate is 40 years later than his siblings.
