Biography

Ephraim Jones was born Sept. 10, 1706 at Boston, ^[1]son of Ephraim and Hepzibah (Chandler) Jones. ^[2] He married at Concord, MA on Sept. 12, 1728, Mary Hayward who was born Dec. 6, 1708, daughter of Simon and Rebecca (?Hartwell) Hayward. ^[3]

Ephraim died on Nov. 29, 1756 at Concord ^[3] and is buried in the South Burying Place at Concord. His inscription reads:

Here lyes Buried the Body of Capt. EPHRAIM JONES Who departed this Life Nov. ye 29th 1756 in ye 51st Year of his Age ^{[4] [5]}

Mary died in 1803. ^[2]
