I think of myself as a historian first and a genealogist second. I am an experienced senior citizen genealogist who believes that all information must be proven and the source provided.

I like helping others with their research and am known in my community as a genealogist who can get you over the brick wall. I belong to several genealogical, historical societies. My father’s families’ lines are all pre-Revolution War who came to the Southern colonies from the British Isles. My mother’s families are mostly Irish, German immigrants in the mid-1800s. For over ten years I have made an annual research trip to the British Isles. I acquired my first computer for personal use in 1985 and became involved with DNA testing in 2007.
