I am the historian for S. Bristol NY which adjoins Naples NY where Capt. William Watkins is buried. I believe he was the father of Hannah Watkins Johnson born 1767 died 12/30/1851. May I add her?

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz
As Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects coordinating them is essential. Please ensure there is a location and that the location data matches dates of profiles, I edited https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Dean-11818 as you had used the United States within the location no profile born before July 1776 should have the term used in locations. I also extended the Find a grave link.
Please avoid abbreviations, add citations & links for sources to support the data, please review these pages Reliable Pre-1700 Sources and Help Sources for Pre-1700 as well as United States reliable sources. Writing a short biography of over 500 characters starts to tell their life story, it is surprising how much can be drawn from sources.
The United States Project and its subprojects for each state, would be of interest. Adding the tag UNITED_STATES will connect you Follow this link for your tags This prorject has sub projects for each State and each of those have their own subprojects for counties.
Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find one that fits your research focus.

Please be extremely careful when creating Mayflower-related profiles. Most people who are closely descended from the Mayflower have profiles already. You have created at least two that I am aware of and possibly more: Benjamin Deane (son of Walter) and his son, Benjamin.
Thank you, S Willson, Arborist
