Biography
Thomas was the son of Thomas Stubbs and Mary Everett.
Thomas was living in Tyrrell County, NC in 1786 according to the 1790 US Fed. Census.[1]
He married Margaret Currell (1740 to 1804). They married on 4 Feb 1793 in Tyrrell, North Carolina, USA.[2]

Tyrrell County Original Will at N. C. Archives, December 16, 1795.[3]
- Will Imprimis- I lend unto my beloved wife Margaret Stubbs during her natural life one negroe man Henry & one featherbed & furniture, & at her decease, I give said negroe man Henry to Peggy Jones & Friley Jones & the featherbed & furniture I give to my son John Stubbs, to them & their heirs for ever.
- My son Thomas Stubbs, & my friend Edmond Blount whole & sole executors of this my last will & testament ratifying & confirming this & no other as my last will & testament the day & year first above written.
