Hi Cousins and Ancestry friends. I have been at this now for 3 years. I knew the names of my Dad's and Mom's brothers and sisters. But had not met some of them at all. Both of my Grandfathers passed before I was born. (1939). But I did get to meet my mother's mother, only once. But my Dad's mother lasted till 1968. We got to visit her in Hartlepool several times. She also came to Canada and visited with our family there, her daughter in Indianapolis, and three sisters living in the Niagara Falls area. And I never got to meet them. But I did get to visit often with my Aunt and Uncle, and my 3 cousins in Indianapolis, Indiana. My Dad had two brothers that I never met, and my Mom had one brother I never met. But with Ancestry, I found them. And do more together. Peter Pilot

The GEDCOMpare process guide has tips on how to use the data in your file most efficiently. For those using Chrome or Opera browsers, there is a tool that can help with the formatting of profiles that have been created through GEDCOM, so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.
