Etienne Theriot, son of Jacques Theriot and Marie Marguerite LeBlanc, was born 1 Jan 1725 in Grand-Pré, Acadie. He was christened there same day sponsored by Claude LeBLANC (who signed) & Jeanne HÉBERT.[1][2]
Etienne married (1) Helene Landry around 1747 in Acadie.[2] Notes: Parents were named. There was a dispensation for 3-4 consanguinity, & 3-3 affinity.
They were found in 1752 in Isle Saint Jean with their first two children.[3]
In 1758 Étienne and his family of four children were deported from Isle Saint jean. Unlike most families, everyone survived the voyage and were on the 1759 list of arrivals at St-Malo, age 24 years (sic).[4]
Etienne was on the 1759 census of St. Malo, Ille-et-Vilaine, France [2] and also on 1762 census of Pleudihen, age 37 years; 1772 census of St-Malo, age 46 years."
Helene died and Etienne next married (2) on 13 February 1770, St. Servan, Ille-et-Vilaine, France, to Marie Madeleine Bourgeois who was born about 1728. She died about 1780.[5]
Etienne was with his new wife Marie Bourgeois next found on the 15 Sep 1772 St-Malo, Ille-et-Vilaine, France census.[6]
Etienne married a third time (3) on 14 November 1780, Chantenay, Loire-Atlantique, France, to Marguerite Grosvalet.[7][8]
Etienne died at age 56 in November 1781 in Loire-Atlantique, France while living in exile, and was buried there on 24 Nov 1781.[2][9]
