Theodorus Thijs (abt. 1750 - 1806)

Biography

Dirk Thijs is geboren in Noord-Brabant in 1750

Dirk was born in Heeze in the Netherlands.^[1]

On 3 February 1771 he married Willemijn Verhagen, his first wife, after they had registered their intention to marry on 17 January 1771. The marriage took place in Heeze.^[1]

His wife Willemijn passed away, leaving Dirk a widower.^[2]

On 16 July 1786 he married Helena Vermeulen, his second wife, after they had registered their intention to marry on 1 July 1786. The marriage took place in Heeze.^[2] Among their children were:

• Wilhelmina Thijs (1787-1836) ^[3]
• Peter Thys (1789-1866) ^[4]
• Tieleman Thijs (1795-1868) ^[5]

Dirk passed away in February 1806. He was buried on 20 February 1806 in Heeze.^[6]
