This is a courtesy email to say thanks for taking responsibility for more Orphaned Profiles. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" or "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.
I also wanted to make sure you know about the AGC extension. The extension helps with the formatting of GEDCOM created profiles so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.
AGC works great for brand new profiles. It may or may not work well on the previously orphaned profiles. Some have been changed enough for the tool not to work. In those cases, the cleanup is a manual process. One of our mentors created a YouTube video that explains her process. I recommend adding links to the profiles of family members, rather than removing them as recommended in the video.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up GEDCOM biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!
One of your profiles popped up as needing some attention, but since there's a good chance, she's still alive, I can't edit it, but you can. The profile is McClure-9. I did some research on the family, and according to their marriage certificate, her maiden name is really McClaire, and she had the legal name of Howell when she married Mr. Vandermark. Could you please correct her Last Name at Birth (LNAB) to McClaire? I posted some of the research on the profile before it went unlisted. I also worked a bit on her husband and son, so maybe your own work will be easier now.
Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention those profiles need.
I noticed that your GEDCOM includes people who already have profiles managed by the New Netherlands Settlers Project. Please be sure to review the project page for resources and special profile guidelines as well as how to collaborate with other members.

Hi Jade, I am confirming your membership on WikiTree.com. Please remember that we work collaboratively to improve the profiles on the WikiTree. Your donations of time, information and research is very much appreciated. Please keep in mind that we all work on the same profiles, so try not to create duplicates. Just remember the mantra, "One profile per person on the WikiTree." The Introduction to WikiTree page has some good information. Thanks for joining us, and Welcome! Kitty
Thank you for volunteering. Before I can confirm your membership, Ill need you to add a little more information about your genealogical interests.
You can do this by editing your tags/comments, adding a couple of sentences to your biography, or posting a brief message in the public comments section of your profile page.
Once we know you are here to help grow the tree, a greeter will be happy to confirm your membership. If you have questions about WikiTree, please feel free to contact me via my profile
