I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.

Please add as much information as you can, with sources, as it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.

You mentioned that you don’t know much about your family tree yet. I assume you are new to genealogy. No problem! Every genealogist is a beginner at some point. Take your time, keep track of sources and ask questions. Check here for tips.

Thanks for the welcome. I've currently got my tree on both My Heritage and Ancestry - not really proficient but have built up quite a lot - really only know half of what I'm doing :).

Found this existed and so just learning/discovering how it all works.

Intend to transfer over as much as I can, but time will tell.

I'll be back in touch once I've looked around a little and if I have questions.
