Hi Sally! The template you have on your profile - {{US Southern Colonist} - is for project-managed profiles, which are all "pre-USA". Could you remove it please?

The project currently does not have a designated sticker for descendants of southern colonists, but it does have some suggested coding for use with WikiTree's Descendant Sticker - see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:US_Southern_Colonies_Stickers

If you'd like to join the project, please post an answer to our "G2G welcome post" at https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1124065

For more information about the project, please see the project page:

Welcome! More quick tips:

http://www.wikitree.com/quiz/pre_1700 We encourage all to study and take the pre-1700 quiz to enable you to add pre-1700's ancestors

Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, an event, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.

Sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

Welcome to WikiTree, I'm Mary, a Mentor. Our goal is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to avoid http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Duplicates before adding a profile.

Adding DOB, DOD, locations, references attached to every person assists all of us!

Encounter ancestors already on WikiTree, contact the PM for trusted access.

To help you get started, view this introductory WikiTree video.

For a list of Member benefits, see Community Members page.

I have a file to upload, and a DNA test also. I hope to find more info on ancestors and descendants, as well as share my research with many cousins.
