POEM by David Cole

David Cole's Requiem (David Cole's Perseid Showers Requiem)

When I am dead, I ask of you:

Cremate my shell, and yearly do

On august eve, as meteors fall

Just raise your glass, to me, that's all.

August 11, 2012 David Kenneth Charles Cole (b. Montreal, 1944ISep16)

Notes: David COLE often watched the Perseid Meteor Showers with his grandchildren, Aug 11-12 of each year.

Hi David,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Your recent merge suggests that the England Project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to review other possibilities. Review the project page to learn how to collaborate with the project members.

Have questions? Click my name, then ask in the comments on my profile.

My oldest COLE ancestor came from Bedfordshire in the UK. I am trying to merge 3 groups of COLE ancestors. Two groups include COLE or COLES from Haynes, Beds, England. The other group includes Thomas COLE b c1525-1571 who married Elizabeth Hargrave b c1526-1574 of London, England.
