David COLE* was raised in Moose Jaw, Sask., Canada. His parents are Victor Charles COLE and Marion Isabelle nee GOATCHER. He speaks English and French. He married Yvette Louise RICHARD on Nov 5, 1966. David received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Science and M.Sc. (Computer Science) degrees from the University of Saskatchewan. David and Yvette live in Ottawa, ON, Canada and spend winters in Florida now that they have retired. David has been gathering genealogy information since about 1980. In September of 2013, David has edited the digitized version of a very old 75 page book [1] whose page images were filmed by Google. The oldest COLE ancestor in this 1630 book is William COLE and Ysabella, his wife who were alive in Cornwall, England in the year 1201. This book was brought up-to-date in 1867. David COLE has NOT yet established his descendancy from this COLE line. A digitized and edited copy of this book is available in RTF format from David COLE. This book is identified as follows:

This is a downloadable copy of "The Genealogy of the Family of Cole" by James Edwin Cole in 1867 ISBN: 1141224526 in RTF format that is readable using wordprocessors such as MicroSoft Word. This is an update of the same book published in 1630 by Sir Edwin Seegar. This old book was photocopied and digitized by Google. The OCR text was proofed and edited by the Author (DKC). The GEDCOM of the "colesofdevon" family tree was created by the author (DKC) and was uploaded to WorldConnect.
