Hi Donna,

Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions or problems, let me know.

Take care

Hi Donna,

Thanks for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Collaboration with Pre-1700 Project members is essential for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because those ancestors are usually shared by many descendants.

It looks like the US Southern Colonies Project would be a good fit based on your branch of WikiTree. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).

Hello Donna,

I confirmed your request. I'm not sure if I've ever met you, though I've obviously met your mom and dad, who are my aunt and uncle. Thank you for sharing here on WikiTree. It's a very small world out here. AT least 10 years ago, I met a young woman named Debbie Fadely. I told her that I had an Aunt Alma and Uncle Don Fadely, and she replied, "So do I." Take care, and feel free to message me anytime.

Hi Donna!

Since you uploaded a GEDCOM, I wanted to give you the link to a tutorial that one of our mentors created that others found very helpful. I hope that you will too.

Thank you for signing the Honor Code and adding your DNA information. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. To get the best results, you need to start with yourself and add sourced profiles for your ancestors until you can connect to existing profiles in WikiTree. 24 hours later, your test will have populated on the profiles of your ancestors and their descendants, where others with potential matches may also appear.
