I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!
If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.
The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.
REMINDERS: (1) We use Google Groups for project collaboration and you aren’t yet a member of the group, please submit a join request here (make sure to add your name/WikiTree ID to the request). (2) I see you've added German_Roots (our old project name) to your G2G tags, you should also add GERMANY to your followed G2G tags so you don't miss any discussions in G2G (see: Help:Tags#How_to_follow_tags Help:Tags).
Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list. We recently launched a new Profile Improvement Team and are seeking new team members. Let me know if you’re interested.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

What is the source for Sarah Jamison Sexton. Charles Sexton Sr had to wives and if she is mother of Esther she is the first one. She was mother of the first children to include Elizabeth who married Nathaniel Hart, son of John who signed independence. The second was Sarah Whitman Brush, widow of Ebenezer Brush. She was the mother of Jared, Taphath and Nehemiah the last three. In his will he names a Sarah as his wife.
My name is Dodie and I am the coordinator for the Ostrander Name Study. I have taken the liberty to connect John W Ostrander to his ancestors and added the Name Study category to his profile.
We would love it if you would participate in the Ostrander Name Study. It is simple to do and can be a lot of fun. If you are interested, please feel free to leave me a message and I can go over everything with you.
Happy Wiki'ing!

Re: comment on Weston Sampson that his birthday is before his parents. He was born in 1802, father Lewis born 1783, mother Mary born 1780. How does that equate to before?
Thank you Tracy for the comment on this profile https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Alsace-123 that the dates don't match the webpage based on the work of Randy Wilson. Unfortunately the Randy Wilson webpage has many errors, and as it also doesn't cite any sources for the information, it isn't a source I would recommend for pre-1500 profiles. The dates on Adele's profile seem to agree with the sources on that page, so for the moment they should stay as is.
Hi, Tracy - thank you for the names; here's what I'm finding in the family-history book: no Dry (but Dreiling, Dreinung, and Dreylinger), Epting, Fegelyk (have Feige); Fenstermacher (except as a profession: window-maker), Kistler (but Kistner), Savage (but Sieverdes, Sieveking), Wagaman, or Warmkessel.
Moyer we have as "Meurer"... and that *IS* me and my immediate family, all the way back to the 1500s. We pronounce "Meurer" here in the States as Moyer or sometimes Moyrer; it's got a couple other pronunciations in Germany.
I hoped to have more; sorry! I can give you tons of Meurer/Moyer stuff from Germany.
And I did know a Hager family in (really!) Hagerstown MD, near where Mr. Wagaman was a high-school teacher, mid-1970s to 80s.
Are there particular last names in the Palatinate that you're looking for? My family genealogist published (1989) a few hundred family lines (and several thousand names) that married/descended into the family, from about the late 1400s until the 1980s.
I can check them and see if just maybe there's a connection; often there isn't, but it's worth the exercise, plus the opportunity to practice the language.
Also, I had a teacher (and his daughter, a classmate) named Wagaman in the late seventies, western Maryland. I can also get you some information on him.
Hi Tracy, I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Be sure to also check out our Volunteer Hub to see our projects that really need new members!
I see you are interested in German ancestry. Stop by our Project:German Roots and have a look around. Welcome aboard, we are glad to have you!

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
