my father in law [ Alceus is a Leger from St. Landry Parish area - near Bristol [ Sunset area. ] his wife`s mother was also a Leger ] I have heard of the name Alcide Leger but not sure what the connection is. maybe if we could work together on it we will come up with an answer
Lisa my mothers maiden name was Leger, Her father was a Leger from Southwest Louisisana. His name was Alcide Leger.I know my mother spent some years in a catholic ophanage in Laffayette Louisiana,because nether of her parents could afford to raise her during the depression era.
