Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Thank you for adding a GEDCOM. The GEDCOM does not automatically populate your tree it generates a GEDCOMpare report which you work through either accepting or rejecting suggested matches, once that has been done, you add any remaining names manually.
The GEDCOMpare process guide has tips on how to use the data in your file most efficiently.

I haven't worked on William's and Sarah's children that much.
I started a Jester Name Study https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Jester_Name_Study don't know if I told him or not. AND there are links to other work I have done on the Jesters.
Welcome to wikitree.

I can use all the help I can get. I am trying not to make a mess out of it. I really don't know what I am doing. I had only names of people I knew on my tree, for 5 years and I was hoping someone would come along and do the tree up to my tree. When that didn't happen, I started doing it. I am like a bull in a china shop. But, at least something is happening on here, LOL , I will tell Tammy you wrote. If she don't notice, Thank you for reaching out. Glen
There are still alot if Wimpees to add, If you follow Wimpee and Jester you can see what I am doing, and call me on it when I make a mistake. I might argue. but we'll work it out.

Just remember don't make duplicates.
This is the main reason I popped in today:
I'd like to thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. :)

If both of them are you, then they should definitely be merged. Your profile should be under your maiden name, so that one will be the primary profile.
Look at the bottom of the page - there's a link marked "pending merges." If you click on it, and put in both names, it will start the process. A side-by-side comparison will pop up so you can verify birth dates, locations, etc. If it's still you, go ahead and merge them.
The next step is pretty important: another side-by-side comparison will turn up, but you get to choose which data is the most accurate. When it looks good, go down to the Biography section. BOTH biographies appear, so you get to edit them into one good one that reflects what you want to say about yourself. Just remember that WikiTree is a public website.
Then you confirm, and boom, you're done.

I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.
See you in the branches.
