Biography

Origin & Immigration

Mary (Farrow) Beal immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).

Mary Farrow was the daughter and eldest child of John and Frances Farrow of Hingham, Norfolk, England, where she was baptized September 22, 1633.^{[1][2][3][4][5]}

Mary was about age two in 1635 when she immigrated to New England with her parents on one of the ships in the fleet with Rev. Peter Hobart. She and her family settled in Hingham, Massachusetts.^[1][2][3][5]

Marriages

Mary married first, Samuel Stowell, in Hingham on October 25, 1649. Samuel died November 9, 1683.^{[1][3][4][6][7]}

She married second, Joshua Beal on October 10, 1689. They had no issue.^{[1][3][6][8][9]}

Death

Mary Beal died at Hingham, Massachusetts, on October 24, 1708.^[3][9][10]
