As you have back on WikiTree for a while now, I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
Has the New Member How-To been helpful, or left you with any questions?
Looks like you have some of your family on your branches. Let me know if you have run into any roadblocks.
Please do return to the profiles you have created (or adopted) to add more biographical details and sources -- this is the best way to create an interesting, accurate, and well-rounded story of your family. The easiest way to find sources is to use the handy RootsSearch link on the right side of any profile. You login with your WikiTree login. There are links to over 20 genealogy websites. I recommend starting with FamilySearch. Once you find a correct source, just copy and paste the citation provided into the profile. This can go at the end or use the inline citation tool to add it to the biography. It is a box with a C in it above the Edit Text box (when you are in edit mode). Learn more about sources here.
I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. To contact me, log into WikiTree and go to your profile. Use the ‘Reply’ link below my comment so that I will be notified. Alternatively, you can click my name to visit my profile, where you can send a private message, or post a comment on my profile page.

PS If you add your surname and other surnames/locations you are researching to your tags, you can connect to other members researching those names/places. The more of these clickable tags you add (20 max.) that include surnames, locations, periods of history or other genealogical interests, the more connections you will make and maybe find a few cousins! To add tags, use this link. This page will help you learn more about tags.
Because pre-1700 ancestors are usually shared by many descendants, collaborating with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Review the project pages to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.
Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).
I think you may have email confirmation problems. A new confirmation email can be generated at confirmation problems. Please let me know if you have any questions about this or anything about WikiTree. :-)
This is just a note to say hi and to let you know that I'm available to answer questions about WikiTree.

Hi Lee, you sent me a message expressing interest in the 'England ancestor' project. I'm not sure which project you mean. Here's a link to the main Wikitree projects page so you can locate the one you're interested in. You then would want to contact the project manager with regard to joining/becoming involved with the project. I see we share a common HUSSEY ancestor...
Now that the merge between Abial (unknown) Hussey and Abial (Brown) Hussey is completed, it would be nice to edit Abial's Last Name At Birth to "Brown". Though the profile is open, only a Profile Manager or Trusted List member is able to edit that particular field. Thank you!

Hi Lee, I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?
Let me know, and I can help you figure out if there's a project that might interest you. Welcome aboard, we are glad to have you!
You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree! Thank you for volunteering. Make sure to add more TAGS to follow as you grow the family tree.
Wow!!! You're the 3,425th Hanson profile on Wikitree! I bet your 'cousins' on Wikitree will benefit greatly once you add your insightful collaboration and sourced research.
The initial email from us has helpful links that get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used.
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to Volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.
Once you choose to Volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way!
Welcome to the Family, were really glad youre here.
