Biography

Born at McConnell Air Force Base Hospital, it was destroyed on 26 April 1991 when an F5 tornado devastated McConnell during the Andover, Kansas Tornado Outbreak. As a result of the tornado, the base constructed new facilities to replace the destroyed base services. Moving in a northeast direction, the tornado crossed the southern end of the runways, missing a line of B-1B bombers and maintenance hangars. A replacement facility was built in 2004, named the "Robert J. Dole Center" on 31 Oct 2004.

Hi Sue,

Thanks for your contributions to our tree.

I see that you have been adding pre-1700 profiles tonight using "Ancstry family trees" as your source. This is not an adequate source for pre-1700 profiles. Would you please review the Pre-1700 Quiz and the explanations about the sort of sources WikiTree is looking for, as well as our Help page on Sources.

Also, please note that the inline citations that you are using (the ref tags) only work in the biography section. If you place them below the references tag in the sources, they will not show.

Thank you!

Dave

Hi Sue. I see you are creating a lot of profiles and only giving "Tribal Pages" as a source. Thanks for joining WikiTree and adding new profiles, but can I ask that you have a look at the help section on sources and the Honor Code guidelines. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources

Hi Sue,

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.

Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.

Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.

Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
