Welcome to WikiTree, Thomas! Glad to see another PEI researcher. I added a few bits to the profile for your founding ancestor, Benjamin Warren, in the hope that you'll find them helpful. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions,

Hi Laurie,

Thanks for reaching out, and for helping with Ben Sr. I have only added a few profiles from a gedcom generated by FamilyTreeMaker. The FTM tree is synced from Ancestry. I spent a few days learning the markup language, and trying to figure out what and how to transfer the facts and evidence over. I am quite discouraged as of now. I have a few thousand documented descendants of Ben Warren in my tree and tens of thousands of historical records. It would literally take me years to do this right, and it feels like years of html programing, and desktop publishing not genealogy. I don't know if I want to commit that much.

The media files are another issue. I think there are copyright problems with duplicating the actual files, and there are both accessibility and permanence problems with any kind of link. My total tree has over 100,000 media references. But I was only contemplating the Warren line. I have 3049 descendants of Ben Sr.. Several hundred are living descendants with autosomal DNA matches to me.

On the plus side I would love to connect with some PEI researchers. I like what you are doing. Some of the profiles I have seen are works of art with compelling research to match.
