Thomas Huckabee Sr.

Does anyone have any lead on the parents of Lloyd Joe Huckaby(Huckabay)? This is my maternal grandfather and I was told that his father was J. J. Huckabay. Not sure what the initials stand for. I was told it was either Jimmy Joseph or it could be Joseph Jimmy, or is it just plain J. j. Whatever he is buried in Old Sparta Cemetery in Bienville parish. There is a headstone with J.J. Huckabay and there is another headstone with Joseph Jimmy Huckabay.

The surviving family doesn't know either. I am stumped on this.

Thank you so much for your encouragement. I try to help as much as I can. I am somewhat kin to the Huckaby line, by Gower, Kimball and of course, Shearing or Shearing or Shearin. Very distant. I enjoy looking up facts. have learned so much about family and history. I want to keep looking into the Huckaby line if that's ok.? Along with Gower, Kimball and, Shearin. There is a kind of connection of these people that may help me find where my ancestor Joseph Shearin, Shearing came from. I am stumped at this point. All I know is that all these men, were involved with land that they received in Brunswick County, Virginia. That starts their connection. I need to know who owned East of Three Creeks, Surry Virginia before it became Brunswick. They all owned land there. I just hope that I can get a lead on where he came from. I have been working on my family line since 2014. It's been a fun ride. Like I said, I am glad to help anytime. If you want, I will continue putting sources in the comment sections so that you can put them in the biographies of the profiles you are manager for. sorry just really read ur msg about the fellows i think its my uncles wifes thats related to huckabys but i added her gedcom to my gedcom now im stuck in gedcom world
