Domitille (Goguen) Caissie is an Acadian

Domitille Goguen was born on 2 Feb 1841 and baptized on 3 Apr 1841 in Grande-Digue, New Brunswick, the daughter of Joseph Goguen and Barbe DesRoches.[1][2]

Domitille married Amand Caissie, son of Thomas Caissie and Marguerite Doiron, on 23 Nov 1868 in Cocagne.[3][4] A dispensation was granted for 2 to 3 degrees of consanguinity (they were 1st cousins once removed, view relationship).

Domitille died on 7 Oct 1878 and was buried two days later in Cocagne.[5] Her age noted in the parish register was 36 years, the wife of Amand Caissie.
