Anastasie (Leblanc) LeBlanc is a descendant of an Acadian

Anastasie was born on 30 May 1768 in Halifax. She was baptized on 2 June 1769 in Halifax. [1] She was the daughter of Jacques LeBlanc and Anastasie Breau. Her godparents were Amand Surette and Françoise Breau.

She married Jean Richard around 1785.

She passed away in Richibouctou-Village on 24 June 1796. She was buried 25 June 1796. [2] "Jacques LeBlanc, un autre fils de François, est né à Grand-Pré le 30 novembre 1732. D'après la tradition, il se rendit à Philadelphie pour épouser Nathalie (dite Anastasie) Breau, fille de Pierre Breau et d'Anne Françoise Dupuis. Placide Gaudet nous informe que Jacques s'est noyé près de Chezzetcook durant les années 1770. Sa veuve s'est remariée vers 1775 à Pierre Léger, veuf de Marguerite Grosvalet." [3]
