Biography

Johann was born about 1696. Johann Traber. He was baptized September 23, 1696.^[1] He was confirmed September 26, 1710. (Jones, cites West Camp Lutheran Chbk). He appeared in the Rhinebeck North Ward tax rolls in 1720/21 and continued on Rhinebeck area tax lists to February 1747/48. (Jones, cites Dutchess Co. Tax Lists).

As Bastian Treibor listed in group of Palatine families who moved to Rhinebeck “from the east camp (Germantown?) on the Hudson in 1715” (Historic Old Rhinebeck p. 42)
