She married (2) by 26 September 1648 William White. On 26 September 1648, there was granted to "Katherine administration of the estate of her late husband Jno. Jackson." On the same day, Ipswich court ordered the distribution of "the estate of John Jackson, late of Ipswich, dying intestate": "1. The son to have £14 at 21 years of age"; "2. 5 daughters each of them £6 to be paid at 20 years of age or at marriage, they marrying with the consent of those that shall have the power over them"; "3. Mary's birth ("8 Dec 1639 in Exeter, Devon, England") is unsourced, as is also, for that matter, her marriage "5 May 1658 in Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts Bay" to Isaac Foster.
Without supporting reliable sources and sound analysis as to her birth and parentage, the linked child, Mary Foster, should be severed as the daughter of PGM John Jackson, with appropriate disputed associations comments entered on both profiles.
I have posted the following message to Mary's profile.

1) Her marriage is now sourced. 2) Her unsourced birth has been estimated based on her marriage and is no longer in conflict with her father’s arrival in Ipswich. 3) Potential errors in the work of Savage and Anderson are discussed in her profile and in her father’s profile. 4) The attachment as an uncertain daughter of John but not to John’s wife is out of balance.
Katherine would be an uncertain parent like John, for all the reasons outlined in John and Mary’s profiles.
If she is not connected as a daughter to this profile, then she should be disconnected as the daughter of John as well.
Thx, Mike

Yes, good work.
Has anyone found anything--court records, deeds, etc.--that could associate Mary or Isaac with her parents? Likewise, other than her marriage date, are there any records that indicate her age?
Anderson did not name Elizabeth (Jackson) West as the daughter of John and Katherine either. In that case, however, we have the record of her death, which provides a basis for her age and parentage. See Vital Records of Beverly for "Elizebeth [West], w. Capt. Thomas, d. John and Kathrin Jackson, Oct. 12, 1708, a. 66 y. 9 m." (InternetArchive).
Believe I had posted the links for deed research on the profile of Mary (Jackson) Foster hoping someone might look at those more carefully. --Gene
