Jeanne Blanchard was born about 1681 in Port-Royal, Acadie, Nouvelle-France, daughter of Guillaume Blanchard (abt. 1650–aft. 1716) and Huguette Gougeon (abt. 1655–1717).[1]

In 1686, at Port Royal, Jeanne, aged 5, was living with her parents, Guillaume BLANCHARD, aged 35, and Huguette GOUJONNE [sic], aged 27, and her four siblings: Marie, aged 12, Rene, aged 8, Antoine, aged 6 1/2, and Anne, aged 2. They owned 4 guns and were living on 5 arpents of cultivable land with 16 cattle and 20 sheep.[2]

Jeanne (18) married Olivier (D'Aigre) Daigre (25) (born about 1674 in Port Royal, Acadie; son of Olivier Daigre and Marie Gaudet) on 8 Aug 1700 in Port Royal Acadie. Their known children were:

  1. Paul Daigre (abt. 1701–bef. 1752) .
  2. Olivier Daigre (1703–1756) .
  3. Marie (Daigle) Daigre (1704–1756) .
  4. Jeanne (Daigle) Daigre (1706– ) .
  5. Marguerite Daigre (1708–bef. 1763) .
  6. Jean Baptiste Daigre (1710–abt. 1757)

CENSUS: 1701, age 20 years.

Jeanne (33) married Jean Le Prince (22), (born about 1692 in Grand Pré, Acadie; son of the late Jacques Le Prince and Marguerite (Hebert) Hébert) on 30 Jan 1715 in Port-Royal, Colony of Nova Scotia.[3][4] Their known children were:

  1. Marie Josèphe Le Prince (1715– ) .
  2. Honoré Le Prince (1717–abt. 1761) .
  3. Joseph (Prince) Le Prince (1719–1781) .
  4. Jean Baptiste Le Prince (abt. 1721–1787) .
  5. Pierre (Prince) Le Prince (1723–1758)

Jeanne died before 15 Feb 1762 in Annapolis Royal, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia aged ~80.
