Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas Wroth and Mary Rich.[1][2] Her birth date is uncertain but her 1574 marriage date may point to a birth date of 1555-1560. She was a legatee in the 1573 will of her father.[1][2]
Elizabeth married twice. On 24 June 1574 at Hertingfordbury, Hertfordshire, she married George Mynne Esq of Hertingfordbury.[1][2][3][4] They had six children:
Robert,[1][2] their eldest son,[5] found to be aged three and more at his father's December 1581 Inquisition Post Mortem[4]
Her first husband died in 1581,[1][2][3][4] and appointed Elizabeth sole executor, leaving her his manor at Gawlden, Somerset and other lands in London, Hertfordshire and Somerset.[5]
