Giles de Beauchamp, Knt., was the fifth son of Walter de Beauchamp, Knt., and Alice de Tony[1][2] (aka Toeni). The birth date of Giles de Beauchamp is not known. A date of 1283 is sometimes seen. Since his parents were married in 1269 and his father died in 1303, the reported birth date falls appropriately within this period. Since Giles was a younger son, 1283 is a reasonable estimation.
